The Right Honorable Malcolm Sinclair, 20th Earl of Caithness, Scotland, met with a group of 12, among them Mr. Stevens, for dinner to discuss a Scottish Perspective on the Anglo-American alliance. Malcolm Sincair, PC, is a Conservative British politician, a member of the House of Lords, and on the Queen’s Privy Council. The night’s conversation focused upon the economic climate and the British and American government response to recession.

Tom Stevens was fortunate to attend a dinner with Lester Crown as Mr. Crown discussed The Future Path of the Persian Gulf. The dinner was on the heels of Mr. Crown’s trip to Qatar, The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia as chairman of a delegation of Chicago businessmen opening new opportunities in the Middle East. Along with 9 other attendees, Tom was involved in discussion of economic diversification, social transformation and Mideast regional geopolitical stability.
